An accomplished jazz musician, he's played both acoustic and electric bass with many of the leads on the Bay Area scene, including saxophonists Branford Marsalis, Pharaoh Sanders, Gary Foster, and Charlie McCarthy; guitarists Bruce Forman, Mimi Fox, Jordan Samuels, Jeffrey Burr and Kai Lyons; pianists Marion McPartland, George Cables, Al Plank, Mark Levine, Larry Dunlap, and George Gaffney.
